I am a social Justice Activist and recognized dynamic Youth Leader. Has frontline experiences implementing campaigns and advocacy initiatives advancing women’s rights, gender equality, Ending violence against women / girls and sustainable Development. Her dedication in highlighting the issues of women and girls, places her as a Global Beijing 25 youth task force Member. Caryn has thirteen years of work experience volunteering in Rural communities in the North west and South west region. She is a Peace builder whose dedication in achieving lasting peace in the North west and South west regions led her into creating a peace campaign she calls the "HerPlace Project’ which is a grassroots initiative aimed at engaging grassroots women as peace builders.

Due to the high rate of sexual violence within the context of the Crisis in her region, Caryn runs a support program “Healing Invisible wounds Project” where she provides pysycho-social support to survivors of violence in armed conflict through trauma healing sessions . One of her flagship projects was a baby shower with fifty pregnant survivors of Rape with delivery and Mama kits and a surprise baby shower.

She is equally the elected General Coordinator of the Cameroon women’s peace movement (CAWOPEM) a constellation of two hundred women led civil society organizations from all ten regions of Cameroon with an objective of ensuring that Cameroonian women are part of the peace building process in their country.

She is dedicated working towards ensuring young women in Cameroon find their place within the peace process in Cameroon. She holds a Masters Degree (Hons) in Conflict, Peace and International Relations
