Giulia Patane is a Consultant at PILnet. Giulia used to be based in PILnet’s Hong Kong office leading the Anti-Trafficking in Persons (ATIP) Project across five jurisdictions in the region (Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Hong Kong) since 2018. She currently manages the implementation of PILnet’s Online Regional Course on Public Interest Lawyering and coordinate PILnet’s children rights initiatives. She relocated in Italy in 2021 and since then she supports also manages the national clearinghouse at Pro Bono Italia. She holds an Integrated Master Degree in Law, a Specialization Degree in Law and a Master of Art in Human Rights. After almost ten years in Asia, designing and implementing NGOs and academic projects predominantly investigating Access to Justice for victims of trafficking in the South East Asian territory, she moved back to Italy where she is currently based.
