My name is Joseph Sahr Ansumana, age 56. I am a Sierra Leonean national and married with two children. I obtained a Teachers Certificate at the Bunumbu Teachers College, a Higher Diploma in Humanities: Holistic Development and Master of Art in Pastoral Leadership at All Hallows College, Dublin City University, Ireland. I have participated in several courses, seminars, workshops and conferences at home and abroad. I am a civil society activist with expertise in community animation and development. I work for the Network Movement for Justice and Development, a national civil society human- rights oriented, advocacy and development organization as District and Programme Manager based in Kono District,eastern Sierra Leone . I coordinate, supervise and mobilize resources. I also help to raise the organization’s profile and represent it at national and international levels. By joining the network, I want to strengthen my ability to empower communities to know, use and shape the law.
