Kevin Nam is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths & Notary Public with a strong background in human rights law, public interest litigation, commercial, civil, and criminal practice. He holds an LLB (Hons) from Moi University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, where he successfully completed the Advocates Training Programme.
Kevin has worked in various law firms as a student, pupil, legal trainee, associate advocate, legal manager, and head of legal, gaining hands-on experience before being admitted to the Bar. Today, he focuses on advancing access to justice, gender equality, and community empowerment, while also contributing to legal scholarship through research and publications on intellectual property, corporate law, adoption, impeachment processes, and professional ethics.
Beyond the courtroom, Kevin actively supports community initiatives, volunteering with organizations such as SCANN (Street Children’s Assistance for Nakuru Networks). His values are deeply inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, which continues to shape his commitment to equality and justice.
A forward-thinking advocate, Kevin is passionate about the integration of technology into legal practice, seeing it as a key driver for improving efficiency and broadening access to justice in Kenya. He is open to collaborations, networking, and partnerships with professionals and organizations working toward impactful change.
