My work addresses the determinants and consequences of opportunity and exclusion in the global economy -- sustainable development, poverty and inequality, and social and economic rights fulfillment within and across generations. In this vein I focus on structural and institutional issues, including legal empowerment and rule of law, natural resource governance, collective ownership and property rights, and international economic law.
