Call for Practice Notes - Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law

Dear colleagues,

The Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law in London is setting-up a new project (‘the Global Rule of Law Exchange’), supported by Law Firm Jones Day. In a nutshell, the Exchange seeks to address key challenges posed by global development and its relationship to the rule of law through applied research, a series of international events, capacity-building and technical advice. More information can be found here:

We are currently drafting our workplan and identifying areas of interest, and are particularly keen to understand where and how a small project like the Exchange can add value. As well, we are keen to foster empirical and comparative knowledge on what works and what does not in rule of law interventions, encourage discussions on their impact, and to identify good practice, research gaps, and ways forward.

To this end, the Exchange welcomes submissions of short papers, practice notes and policy documents of about 1,500 to 3,000 words, exploring the relationship between rule of law and development.

The full call for papers, including instructions for applications, can be found here:

We look forward to hearing from you
