Hebron University College of Law and Political Science and its legal clinics (in partnership with Al-Najah National University, Birzeit University, Al-Quds University, the Palestinian Bar Association and a number of Netherlands universities), will organize an international conference on the legal profession in Palestine and the prospects for its reform, taking into consideration experiences from other jurisdictions of the world. The conference will take place on 23 and 24 November 2016 at Hebron University campus, West Bank, Palestine. The conference organizers call upon law professors, researchers and jurists from any country in the world to submit paper abstracts (about 300 words) to be presented at the conference.
Attached please find a copy of the call for abstracts (English and Arabic), which includes information on important dates, abstract submission, logistical and financial aspects (with possibilities of limited funding).

دعوة لتقديم ملخصات أبحاث علمية في مؤتمر دولي حول مهنة المحاماة
تنظم كلية الحقوق والعلوم السياسية في جامعة الخليل (بالاشتراك مع جامعة النجاح الوطنية وجامعة بيرزيت وجامعة القدس ونقابة المحامين الفلسطينيين وعدد من الجامعات الهولندية) مؤتمرا دوليا حول مهنة المحاماة في فلسطين وأوجه الإصلاح، مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار الخبرات الموجودة في عدد من دول العالم. سيعقد المؤتمر من 23 إلى 24 تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر 2016 في حرم جامعة الخليل، فلسطين. تطلب الكلية من أساتذة الجامعات والباحثين والحقوقيين من فلسطين وخارجها الراغبين بالمشاركة في المؤتمر تقديم ملخصات لأبحاث باللغة العربية أو الإنجليزية (حوالي 300 كلمة) من أجل تقديمها في المؤتمر.
