Lawyers Against Poverty (LAP) is a UK charity and growing global movement of lawyers and social justice advocates committed to alleviating poverty worldwide. We have been running for the past five years as an Oxfam programme and have just established as an independent charity. Our members offer their time to volunteer with legal projects and support initiatives through our Justice Fund that increase access to justice around the world.

We will also share updates on LAP’s projects and opportunities for new members to get involved, including what we are doing to take action for refugees in the UK, connecting a global legal community and inspiring a new generation of social justice advocates.
