Dear friends,
We’re re-launching our search for a new Advisor, Legal Empowerment Financing role at Namati, which can be based in any of our offices (including Delhi, India; Freetown, Sierra Leone; Maputo, Mozambique; Nairobi, Kenya; Yangon, Myanmar, or Washington DC, US) (but please note candidates must already be legally eligible to work in one of these countries to be considered for this position).
This role will be focused developing strategies to engage with large philanthropies and bi- and multi-lateral institutions to bring additional funding not only to Namati, but to the rest of the movement, helping to establish greater and more stable funding for the work you all do.
You can see the full job description here, but the topline is that we’re looking for someone who can work a room at a networking level, build relationships on a deeper level, navigate and work effectively in sometimes slow-moving and skeptical institutions, and who can effectively advocate for the legal empowerment movement in person and in writing.
If you read that and thought to yourself “wow, that sounds perfect for me!” or “I’d hate that job, but I bet my friend Rosa would be great at it” please feel free to forward the posting on, or reach out to Kim Stiens (@kimstiens), Namati’s Talent and Operations Specialist, at kimstiens@namati.org if you’d prefer we contact the candidate directly, or if you have any questions about the role.
We hope you will consider joining our dynamic, growing team. If you don’t meet the requirements or aren’t looking for a new role, we would also greatly appreciate it if you would share this posting or the links to social media posts below with your networks:
Thanks so much,
Deyla
